Visit from German research center Forschungszentrum Julich GmbH

January 20, 2016 a working meeting of a group of scientists of the Faculty of Biology  of Moscow State University  and executives of leading German research center, Forschungszentrum Julich GmbH, took place. During the meeting, leaded by the Dean of the Faculty Academic Kirpichnikov M.P., there was a discussion on the Russian-German cooperation in various fields of biotechnology, and some of the current research projects were discussed.

Scientists of the Faculty of Biology - Alex Solovchenko, Alexei Feofanov, Anton Bonartsev, Olga Sokolova and Michael Mosenovich Biological presented their new research projects on biotechnology, including the creation of biodegradable materials for biomedical technologies, research in the field of biological fertilizer and biomass, the use of natural biopolymer materials in regenerative medicine, and others. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the format of a business lunch. We thank the leadership and representatives of the Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH for the visit and interesting discussion. We hope for the further mutually beneficial cooperation between our organizations.
